Peacefully in Brooke House Care Home on Wednesday 16th April 2025, aged 92 years.
Former Head Teacher at Fawdon and former Teacher at Westgate Hill Primary Schools. Much loved godmother of Rosie (formerly Stafford). Joan will be sadly missed by all her family and friends especially Gillian and Helen.
A short service of committal will take place at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 21st May at 12:30 followed by a service of thanksgiving at St Nicholas Cathedral at 13:15.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to The Choir Association, there will be a donation box at the church.
